Hello,

I shot my video in HD and compressed it properly (file size itself is .h264 compressed, 26 MB and my quicktime file looks sharp) but when it’s uploaded to the Zooppa site it came out fuzzy with slight banding. Does this have something to do with the server or my compression settings (if it is the compression settings would you be able to send me the proper ones?)

Best,
Andrew

For some reason Zooppa recompresses everything for a noticeable quality loss – both picture and sound. Doubling your data rate will help.

i have a question… i downloaded the materials and i have the forms, but they don’t seem to provide a page where you put your social security numer with the affidavit. I don’t even know if you need to provide them but it asks for it and there is no space for them.

please help!

Hey Nate,
Your SS# is actually not necessary on that form—we’ll get it from you on the winners’ W-9 if you win. Sorry for the confusion!

We shot our video using the generic label that was provided for us but not a blue cap will we be disqualified?

Hey NK,

I’m sorry to say, but yes. The client is very particular about everything having a blue cap.

So even if a majority of them have blue caps just one red cap will have us disqualified? Just one scene with a gallon of milk with a red cap could do that? Bc even in their TV spot they have in the materials folder their is a shot of milk with red caps.

Thanks for getting back to me so fast too

Hey NK,

Hmm… I’d have to see it to be sure.
My hunch is that if your focus is on the blue cap jugs (have them in the foreground, etc.) then it may not be disqualified. But it will decrease the odds the client will actually use it publicly.
Your best bet is still to reshoot.

Hey, I adjusted my video accordingly. Now can the older one be removed? Also, will my previous votes and views still count towards my video?

And a little side question: On the Milk labels provided it says “Half gallon” but the client is asking for a full gallon jug to be shown? I was just wondering."

Thanks for all you do!

-Mic

Hey Mic,

1) Yes! We’ll remove the older version now. Unfortunately, due to our voter fraud protection guidelines, we cannot transfer votes to the new upload. Every new video starts from scratch.
2) The client is happy with half gallons or full gallons, just so long as they have the blue cap.

Thanks again for your hard work, and good luck!
