How does it work?
Zooppa partners with companies to bring our Community members opportunities to create great ads for leading brands. Companies develop a creative brief describing their brand's attributes, the target audience, and the objectives of the campaign. Community members are then invited to create ads in various formats. For example, producing a viral video, designing an animated sequence, creating a print ad, even writing scripts or concepts for potential ads.
Once members upload their content, clients generally select and award the best content, but many campaigns also allow community members to vote on content submissions in order to determine additional award–winners.
Zooppa awards cash and special prizes to the creators based on this feedback from the client, the community and Zooppa staff.
Zooppa partners with international companies to sponsor their brand through Zooppa's competitions. For each company that Zooppa partners with, a new contest is launched for users to compete in. Each company provides a creative brief describing its brand and the audience it hopes to reach. Users are then invited to create advertisements tailored to the company’s needs. These ads can take many forms. Users may design an animated sequence, create a print ad, write a script or concept for a potential ad, or actually produce a viral video.
History and Investors
Zooppa was founded in 2007 near Venice, Italy. After successfully bringing people-powered brand energy to the Italian marketplace, Zooppa was launched in the U.S. in December 2008. From its global headquarters in Seattle, Washington, USA, Zooppa has expanded rapidly, bringing major brands together with Creative talents from around the world.
Zooppa's corporate parent, H-Farm was founded in 2005 to create and develop innovative technology and new media start-ups. Working in Internet and new media markets, H-Farm has tested many ideas and turned the best of them into thriving companies.
H-Farm provides its companies with the full range of resources needed for start-ups to rapidly introduce innovative ideas and services: office facilities, financial advice, human resources, legal, accounting and business development support. H-Farm also provides advice on strategy, branding and corporate structure.
