but has no end to the ranking!

Hi Folks-

Sorry, just getting to these questions now.

Quackfoo54 (are there really 53 other Quackfoos on Zooppa? ; )

No- there are no logos you’ll need for this contest.

“Position” refers to where an ad ranks in the voting. #1 position means that the ad has the most votes. However, since there are only Client awards and Zooppa awards in the Razorfish contest, voting doesn’t matter in this contest.

And Rachybop: I always try to get contest winners announced one week after the contest close. So I’d like to have the winners posted for the Razorfish contest by the end of the day next Monday June 28. That said, this contest could be difficult, because we have submissions in Italian & Portuguese to sort through. But I’ll try to keep to the schedule I mention above.

Fun contest! It’s kinda fun to have such a short contest, isn’t it?

Hi ootb-

Yeah- I haven’t heard Razorfish’s selections yet.

I trafficked all of the creative to the client last week – They were working on a mashup of the creative for their Cannes display, and on figuring out which work & Zoopper they were going to feature.

But they haven’t told me which Zooppers they chose to feature.

I’ll get this figured out this week and posted. Then we can work on getting the winners’ scheduled for portfolio reviews and the works.

I try to have contest winners posted in the blog 1 week after contests close. It’s not always possible to get things turned around in that time frame, but I always shoot for that.

ahhwww…Im waitiiiing :)) so, just to get it correct. The position that is next to our profile is not the position that counts? When it says position 16 I might end up number 300 or so?

Hi Leiael79-

The “position” in your profile, next to your ad is correct. It is in fact the rank of your ad within that contest. However, for the Razorfish contest, there was no community voting prize. So in fact, the voting functionality of the site was disabled. When voting is disabled, I think the system simply ranks the ads according to when they were submitted.

This is a bug – when voting is disabled, “position” should simply be " – " for all entries. Not sure when this can be fixed. Please ignore.

BUT – when a contest DOES have voting, then the position does indicate your ad’s position relative to the rest of the entries as far as votes go. The position is listed in your profile, next to the ad, as well as on the ad page.

Hope that helps!

Josh

Hi! thank you. I am really happy with my position. Is it long between all print competitions? I see most video competitions. Hope to be able to enter next print/graphic design competition as well:) Greate site. Keep up the good work

Hi Everybody-

The results of the Razorfish contest have been posted!

http://zooppa.com/contests/razorfish-cannes-lions#contest-info-2

I usually post these results to the blog, but we have been having some trouble with the blog this week.

The Grand Prize winners were featured in a presentation given by the Razorfish team at Cannes. For each grand prize winner, they displayed a slide to the audience featuring that users’ work, and talked about the work and the user.

I’m trying to get more information about this- I hope to have more info next week.

But for now, congratulations winners!

We’ll be in touch with all the winners, to distribute the Microsoft prizes and coordinate the follow through on the Grand prizes.
